Telugu Association of Memphis (TAM) established in 1981 is one of the oldest community organisation bringing together and serving Telugu & Indian people in and around memphis.

Famous Cartoonist & comedy king Mallik and well known movie singer Vijaya Lakshmi are coming to entertain Telugu community in Memphis. These two artists perform standup comedy and movie song concert at Longinotti Auditorium,
St Francis Hospital on June 25th evening at 6.00 P.M . and will last two hours. please come early and this is a free event for all members and $5 for non-members. Ms. Vijaya Lakshmi is a famous movie singer and worked as TV anchor in Hyderabad. She performed 24 hours non-stop singing at Ravindra Bharati. Mr.Mallik is well-known cartoonist worked at Andhra Bhoomi weekly, and at All India Radio. Now he works as chief-Editor of Teluguone.com, you can visit his website at http://www.teluguone.com .
Telugu Annual Games & Sports Competition
As annual tradition this year Telugu association of Memphis conducting Caroms, Chess, Tennis, and Volleyball games . Come and participate in this annual gala and make it successful, Winners will be awarded with gifts and trophies at summer picnic.

Finally Volleyball completion will be held in late July. We will announce the details soon.
2005 TAM Events Completed
Ugadi greeting from Telugu association of Memphis . Ugadi festival was celebrated with our telugu friends at University of Memphis Student Center on April 17th Sunday 12:00 P.M. with andhra food and telugu music.
This year Sankranthi Celebrations were organized at University of Memphis Physcology Auditorium on Jan 17th evening with cultural programs, fun & food and introduction of TAM new executive committee & trutees.
